SUMMARY:Academia Promesa Para Padres/Parent Promise Academy (9/13-11/8)
DESCRIPTION:Cada Lunes/Every Monday\nSeptiembre 13 – Noviembre 8/September 13th – November 8th\n10 sesiones semanales/10 Weekly Sessions\n10:30am – 12pm \nCome join our academy! The Hayward Promise Neighborhoods (HPN) provides a safe place for parents to get together with other parents and learn about raising healthy and happy children. The academy consists of 10-weekly sessions and utilizes the Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors curriculum centered on the cultural values\, strengths\, experiences\, and deeply held goals of parents. The curriculum consists of the following topics: early childhood development\, early reading\, good health\, social and emotional well-being\, early math\, transition to kindergarten\, and leadership and advocacy\, more. \nWe still have room! The Spanish session started on Monday\, September 13\, 2021\, and will run until November 8\, 2021\, from 10:30am-12pm via Zoom. The Parent Promise Academy is FREE and for families that live in the Hayward Promise Neighborhoods. All of the materials are provided. La Academia Promesa para Padres de HPN ofrece un lugar seguro para que los padres se reúnan con otros padres y aprendan sobre la crianza de niños sanos y felices. La academia consiste de 10 sesiones semanasles y utiliza el plan de estudios Abriendo Puertas / Opening Doors centrado en los valores culturales\, las fortalezas\, las experiencias y las metas profundamente arraigadas de los padres. El plan de estudios consiste de los siguientes temas: desarrollo infantil a temprana edad\, lectura a temprana edad\, buena salud\, bienestar socioemocional\, matemáticas a temprana edad\, transición al kínder y liderazgo y abogacía y más. \n¡Todavía tenemos espacio! La sesión en español comenzó el lunes 13 de septiembre de 2021 y terminará el 8 de noviembre de 2021. La clase se reúne todos los lunes de 10:30am-12pm a través de Zoom.
