SUMMARY:CPR/FA for Child Care Providers December 7th\, 2024 (In Person)
DESCRIPTION:This curriculum is used to train child care providers who are new to the field or experienced early care and education professionals who are taking the course to refresh their knowledge and keep their certification current. This training curriculum provides the eight hours of EMSA approved CPR/First Aid training required to obtain a child care license.   \nThis class will be facilitated in English\, all participants must have a basic understanding of spoken and written English.  At this time\, translators and additional guests may not join attendees at 4Cs of Alameda County’s Health and Safety trainings due to capacity and regulation requirements.  If you need a class facilitated in a language other than English\, please contact Barbara Kasnic at barbarak@4c-alameda.org or Mary Beltran at maryb@4c-alameda.org for a list of other training organizations. \n Registration will end when capacity is reached (24 participants) or on Friday November 22nd\, 2024\, or whichever comes first. \nThank you for your interest! DESCRIPTION:The core mission of the Community Care Licensing Division\, Child Care Licensing Program is to maintain the health and safety of children by ensuring that licensed child care facilities meet established Title 22 standards. The Family Child Care CARE Tool was developed to be used by Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) when conducting inspections in licensed facilities.  This tool focused in three priority areas: Prevention\, Compliance\, and Enforcement. We will discuss the Family Child Care CARE Tool\, Title 22 Regulations\, and Children’s Personal Rights domain. Children’s Personal Rights is one of the main driven reasons for complaints. DESCRIPTION:La misión principal de la División de Licenciamiento de Cuidado Comunitario\, Programa de Licencias de Cuidado Infantil es mantener la salud y la seguridad de los niños al garantizar que las instalaciones de cuidado infantil con licencia cumplan con los estándares establecidos del Título 22. La herramienta CARE para Cuidado Infantil Hogareño fue desarrollada para que la usen los analistas del programa de licencias (LPA) al realizar inspecciones en instalaciones con licencia. Esta herramienta se centró en tres áreas prioritarias: prevención\, cumplimiento y aplicación. Analizaremos la herramienta CARE para Cuidado Infantil Hogareño\, las regulaciones del Título 22 y el dominio de los derechos personales de los niños. Los derechos personales de los niños son una de las principales razones de las quejas.
