DESCRIPTION:Part 1:  Saturday\, July 24 at 9:00 am – 12:00 pm \nPart 2: Saturday\, July 31 at 9:00 am – 12:00 pm \nTrauma 100 is a 4-part series designed especially for child care providers. Part 1 of this series will cover the effects of various forms of trauma and toxic stress in early childhood\, children’s brain development in the first five years\, and the impact of traumatic stress on the brain and early development. \nIn this training\, you will learn: \n\nThe neurobiology of trauma and the impact of toxic stress on the brain and behavior of children\nThe difference between challenging behaviors and trauma triggers\nKey trauma sensitive strategies that help support children and build their resiliency to help reduce the adverse effects of early childhood trauma\n\n*Trauma 100 part 1 participants will be automatically registered for Trauma 100 part 2. \n*Participants who attend Trauma 100 parts 1 & 2 will be given the opportunity to register for Trauma 200 parts 1 & 2. \nRegistration has closed.
