DESCRIPTION:Virtual Workshop \nTrauma 100 \nSaturday\, August 3\, 2024\, 9:00am-3:00pm \nThis session will cover the effects of various forms of trauma and toxic stress in early childhood\, children’s brain development in the first five years\, and the impact of traumatic stress on the brain and early development. \nParticipants will learn: \n\nLearn the neurobiology of trauma and the impact of toxic stress on the brain and behavior of children\nGain understanding of the difference between challenging behaviors and trauma triggers\nLearn key trauma sensitive strategies that help support children and build their resiliency to help reduce the adverse effects of early childhood trauma\n\nThis series is designed especially for child care providers \n*Participants who attend Trauma 100 will be given the opportunity to register for Trauma 201  \n*Trauma 100 is the prerequisites for Trauma 201  \nView the 4Cs Virtual Workshop Policies (PDF)  \n  \nRegistration for the training is now closed.
