SUMMARY:Starting Early: Anti-Racism\, Anti-Bias\, and Identity-Affirming Practices in Early Childhood 02.18.26
DESCRIPTION:This training supports early childhood educators in building anti-racist\, anti-bias\, and identity-affirming practices when working with young children and families. Participants will explore developmentally appropriate strategies to talk about race and difference and reflect on their own beliefs and experiences. By starting in early childhood\, educators can create inclusive environments that promote belonging\, respect\, and equity for all children. \nYou will: \n\nIncrease educators’ understanding of anti-racist\, anti-bias\, and identity-affirming practices and how these approaches support young children’s development\, sense of belonging\, and learning.\nBuild educators’ capacity to use developmentally appropriate strategies to talk with young children about race\, identity\, and difference in ways that are respectful\, responsive\, and supportive of families.\nSupport educator self-reflection by examining personal beliefs\, experiences\, and biases\, and identifying concrete ways to create more inclusive and equitable early learning environments.\n\n\n  \nRegistration ends 02/13/26 or when the maximum capacity is met. \nA zoom link will be emailed to registrants one day prior to the training \n  \nThank you for your interest!
