Este plan de estudios de capacitación proporciona las ocho horas de capacitación en RCP/primeros auxilios aprobada por EMSA que se requieren para obtener una licencia de cuidado infantil. \nEsta clase será impartida en español\, todos los participantes deben tener un conocimiento básico del español hablado y escrito.  En este momento\, los traductores e invitados adicionales no pueden unirse a los asistentes a las capacitaciones de Salud y Seguridad de las 4C del Condado de Alameda debido a requisitos reglamentarios y de capacidad.  Si necesita una clase facilitada en un idioma que no sea inglés\, comuníquese con Barbara Kasnic en barbarak@4c-alameda.org o Mary L. DESCRIPTION:Module 1- Prevention of Infectious Diseases\nModule 2- Injury Prevention\nModule 3- Nutrition \nThe curriculum is used to train child care providers who are new to the field or experienced early care and education professionals who are taking the course to update their knowledge and make sure they are up to date. This course provides 8 hours of the Preventive Health and Safety and Nutrition requirement\, using curriculum and materials approved by the California Emergency Medical Services Authority\, under the direction of the UCSF-California Childcare Health Program Preventive Health Training Program\, Mira Liao. The course includes 1 hour of nutrition and instruction in the prevention of lead exposure\, as required by California Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866.  \nAt this time\, translators and additional guests may not join attendees at 4Cs of Alameda County’s health and safety trainings including CPR & First Aid and Preventive Health due to capacity and regulation requirements. If an attendee brings a guest or translator\, they will be asked to wait in the lobby until the end of the class. SUMMARY:CPR/FA for Child Care Providers May 9th\, 2026 (In Person Class)
DESCRIPTION:This curriculum is used to train child care providers who are new to the field or experienced early care and education professionals who are taking the course to refresh their knowledge and keep their certification current. This training curriculum provides the eight hours of EMSA approved CPR/First Aid training required to obtain a child care license.   \nThis class will be facilitated in English\, all participants must have a basic understanding of spoken and written English.  At this time\, translators and additional guests may not join attendees at 4Cs of Alameda County’s Health and Safety trainings due to capacity and regulation requirements.  If you need a class facilitated in a language other than English\, please contact Barbara Kasnic at barbarak@4c-alameda.org or Mary Beltran at maryb@4c-alameda.org for a list of other training organizations. \n Registration will end when capacity is reached (24 participants) or on May 1st\, 2026 or whichever comes first. \nThank you for your interest!
