Rosemary grew up in Dallas, Texas and attended The University of Texas at Austin. There she received a BS degree in Child Development and a MA in Child Development with a minor in Educational Psychology. While earning her MA, Rosemary worked in the Child Development Department at UT, teaching classes to upper division students. She later worked for the Austin Unified School District, directing their infant/toddler development program.
Rosemary moved to California and settled in Fremont with her family in 1987. In 1991 she was hired by 4Cs as their Assistant Director of Resource and Referral. She later became Director of Resource and Referral and then Director of Community Services, a position she held until her retirement in 2019.
Rosemary is passionate about the well-being of families and children in her community and everywhere in the world. She is an advocate for policies and programs that support all families and all children. Rosemary strongly believes in the mission of 4Cs and knows first-hand about their highly-qualified staff and the incredible array of services they offer. She continues to contribute to the agency’s work through service on the Board of Directors.
Rosemary lives in Fremont and has two adult children and a spunky twelve-year-old granddaughter.
