DESCRIPTION:This interactive virtual training is designed for early childhood professionals working in childcare centers and family childcare homes who are seeking to deepen their ability to foster meaningful\, respectful\, and culturally responsive partnerships with families. Participants will explore strategies for building trust\, honoring family voices\, and creating inclusive environments that support ongoing family engagement. The session will provide real-world examples\, reflective exercises\, and tools that can be immediately applied in early childhood settings to strengthen family-provider relationships and improve child outcomes. \nBy the end of this training\, participants will be able to: \n\nIdentify and describe at least three strategies to build trust and authentic relationships with families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.\nLearn easy two-way communication methods to increase family engagement in daily routines and program activities.\nDemonstrate the ability to design a family engagement activity that reflects the strengths\, interests\, and cultures of the children and families served. \n\n  \nRegistration ends September 17\, 2025 \nThank you for your interest! DESCRIPTION:April 04-May 09\, 2025\nFridays | 6pm-7:30pm\n6 virtual sessions \nConnect with other dads in our Black Fatherhood Series facilitated by Dr. Khalid White\, CEO of BLKMPWR\, Father\, Author & Film Maker.  This series includes a total of 6 sessions: 5 virtual sessions and a final in-person celebration at our Hayward office. We will meet weekly (Fridays) from April 04 – May 09\, 2025\, at 6pm-7:30pm.  \nSeries is for fathers and father figures who identify as Black with children ages 0-8 and live in Alameda County. \nWe will discuss the following topics: \n\nMoney & Finances\nRace & Racism\, Jobs & Career\nRelationships & Family\nHealth & Wellness\nTrials & Tribulations. \n\nRaffle given every Friday (must be present to win).
