Mark Parinas is Chairman of the Board and CEO of CVHCare and Curaesoft Corporation, a multi-agency home health organization which he founded in 2005, providing Compassionate Visionary Healthcare (CVH) in the patient’s home, geared toward keeping seniors as healthy and as independent as possible. A Registered Nurse and Certified Public Health Nurse, Mark is a voting member of the Board of Governors at Shriners Hospitals for Children, serves as a Trustee for the California Masonic Homes, Affiliate Partner of APG, a member of the American Public Health Association, and the American College of Healthcare Executives. Previously, Mark was an ICU Registered Nurse for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and a CCU/ Tele/MedSurg RN for Sutter Healthcare, from 2002 to 2005. Still earlier, he was a Key Channels Development Specialist for Nestle, SA, from 1996 to 2000. His personal interests include business systems development, organizational behavior evolution, software as a service, and general aviation, including being a member of the Oakland Flyers, a flying club and training facility.

Although Mark now lives in Danville with his wife, three teenage kids, and two dogs, the Parinas’ started their family in Hayward. The opportunity to assist in providing for essential needs of children and families has always been part of Mark’s personal mission in life. He, himself, was raised by a young single mom who struggled to make ends meet working multiple jobs while running a side business. He also remembers it not being easy, growing up sick and spending most of his childhood in the hospital. Mark has always believed that children are blameless in this difficult world that we live in and when parents do not have enough to provide for their kids, that it is our obligation as a society to step up and help out. Mark understands that the service that 4Cs of Alameda provides for families is crucial and absolutely necessary. Child care is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, hurdle a family usually needs help with to get by, when either trying to get back on track or even trying to survive on a daily basis. It is also the most difficult for a struggling family to solve without adequate assistance. Mark strongly believes in the importance of making sure that organizations like 4Cs of Alameda are able to continue their mission and realize their vision for the benefit of the communities they serve.
