Position: Child Care Services Specialist (Family Services)
Location: Oakland Office
Hours: Full-Time (8:30 am to 5:00 pm)
Work Week: 37.5 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $23.58-24.89 DOE
Community Child Care Coordinating Council (4Cs) of Alameda County is a private nonprofit organization serving families and child care providers in Alameda County. 4Cs of Alameda County exists to develop and coordinate resources to strengthen families and children.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, 4Cs is requiring that all new hires be vaccinated. If selected, you will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit documentation of proof of vaccination or if you have an accommodation under ADA and Title VII, documentation will be required.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Engage parents in a positive working relationship
• Determine eligibility and need for child care services in accordance with state guidelines
• Maintain and update family files, hard copy and electronic
• Input and retrieve data onto specialized computer database
• Maintain communication with families regarding changes in their need for child care
• Request, verify and process documentation received from the parent
• Provide community resources/information upon request
• Maintain confidentiality of client data and administrative information
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred, not required)
• Bilingual: Spanish speaking preferred
• Computer experience; Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be a team player
• Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion in analyzing and problem-solving
• Ability to multi-task and manage high volume calls

Position: On-Call Maintenance Technician
Location: Hayward Office
Hours: As Needed; Flexible Schedule
Afternoons, Nights and Weekend Available
Work Week: ON CALL
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Starting $ 24.89-$26.20 DOE
Community Child Care Coordinating Council (4Cs) of Alameda County is a private nonprofit organization serving families and child care providers in Alameda County. 4Cs of Alameda County exists to develop and coordinate resources to strengthen families and children.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and handy work of all 4Cs
locations.
The Maintenance Technician reports to the Supervisor, Office Administration. This is an on-call, nonexempt and non-benefited position.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Helps with our Diaper and supply receiving, storage and distribution at all office locations
• Responsible for pick-up and delivery of supplies, as necessary to complete maintenance work orders.
• Identifies reports any maintenance needs that impact the health, safety and overall condition of any 4Cs facilities.
• Helps with moving furnishings, hanging art work, cork-boards, etc.
• Handles e-waste and recycle materials removal.
• Maintains storage units on & off-site. Transports file boxes and other miscellaneous items to and from storage. Prepares file boxes for shredding.
• Help offsite programs, meetings and workshops with moving and setup needs.
• Makes sure we have earthquake compliant facilities for safety of staff and clients.
• Assists in the set-up and break down of the Annual Children’s Faire.
Qualifications
• Ability to use hammer, power drill, small saws, screw driver, glue, etc.
• Two (2) or more years’ experience providing maintenance services.
