Community Child Care Council (4Cs) of Alameda County is a nonprofit organization serving families and childcare providers in Alameda County. 4Cs of Alameda County exists to develop and coordinate resources for families and children.

The Child Care Services Specialist (Provider Services) is responsible for providing support to the payment portion of the child care payment assistance program. The Child Care Services Specialist (Provider Services) will report to the Supervisor, Payment Programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for the calculation of monthly attendance sheets of child care payment assistance program participants.
· Intake and processing of program participants’ child care providers which includes explanation of policies and procedures.
· Responsible for researching reimbursement inquiries made by child care providers.
· Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to provider reimbursements.
· Responsible for ongoing projects, i.e. provider codes and rate worksheets, contracts.
· Responsible for setting up and maintaining provider files.
· Responsible for conducting Provider Orientations.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Bilingual preferred in Vietnamese or Dari
· AA Degree preferred
· Ability to communicate well with public and staff
· Computer experience, Microsoft Word, Excel
· Excellent math skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Position: Supervisor, Payment Programs (Family Services)
Location: Oakland Office
Hours: Full-Time (8:30 am to 5:00 pm)
Work Week: 37.5 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $31.36-$34.85 DOE

The Supervisor will report to the Manager, Payment Programs. This is a non-exempt position.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinate the daily workflow of the Child Care Services Specialist (Family Services).
• Supervise, train, and review work performance of the Child Care Services Specialists.
• Support caseloads of Child Care Services Specialists in their absence and as needed.
• Quality Assurance of family files.
• Coordinate the intake and processing of CalWORKs participants transferring from Stage 1 to Stage 2 or 3
• Oversee and assist with eligibility of new enrollments and process accordingly.
• Resolve issues among staff, parents, providers, and county workers.
• Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly reports as needed.
• Monitor current procedures and update accordingly.
• Participate in the development of new program policies, procedures, and processes.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Title 5 regulations, Child Care Bulletins, and 4Cs
Policies.
• Develop a thorough understanding of NoHo software.
• Review Inconsistent and Outstanding Attendance Sheet Reports and follow up as required.
• Conduct monthly department staff meetings and one-on-one check-ins with staff.
• Represent the Agency at meetings and conferences as directed.
• Review files for annual internal audit.
• Assist Program Manager with special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· BA in Social Work or related field preferred
• Computer experience, data entry, Microsoft office
• Ability to train adults through verbal and/or written presentations
• Excellent oral communication and written presentation skills
• Supervision experience required
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Experience working with the county desirable
• Transportation required
