Salary: $74,663 – $82,959 DOE

Community Child Care Council (4Cs) of Alameda County is a nonprofit organization serving families and child care providers in Alameda County. 4Cs of Alameda County exists to develop and coordinate resources to strengthen families and children.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to identify trends, develop reports, and support data-driven strategies. You will be coordinating data and analytical projects from conception to evaluation.

This is an exempt position and reports to the Director, Operations and Human Resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Mine data from multiple internal sources and produce reports to support funding and program enhancement
• Create Results Based Accountability (RBA)/data collection protocols, practices, and tools for all strategies to support agency goals
• Establish and implement project plan across agency for program improvement conversations (i.e. Turn the Curve)
• Lead RBA implementation, including:
o Supervise the building, maintaining, and sharing of consistent
dashboards/reporting using Clear Impact Scorecard
o Supervise the RBA staff team (representatives from each department)
• Project manage team deliverables, including State Report, Impact Report, and Data Profiles
• Create, manage and report results of parent and provider surveys, as needed
• Collaborate with Agency Leadership Team, Communication, and Programs teams to identify analysis that supports the agency, strategic priorities, etc.
• Interface with community partners to develop tools for information and education, and thorough participatory processes.
• Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across different systems
• Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Reporting: Generate reports and visualizations to communicate data insights to stakeholders
• Tech support or mentoring of staff to learn new software or improve current skills and data
management best practices.
• Responsible for keeping confidential information safe and secure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Public Policy, Social Services or related field or 3+ years of professional experience in an analytical role as primary function of position and 1+ years of professional experience with data project management as primary function of position.
• Experience with some or all of the agency’s software, as follows: Office 365, Teams, Clear Impact Scorecard, Salesforce and Kindercare Systems. Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.
• Ability to communicate complex data problems and issues clearly and effectively (verbally + written) to diverse audiences and stakeholders — including comfort presenting in a group setting for people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances.

Position: Child Care Services Specialist
Location: Oakland Office
Hours: Full-Time (8:30 am to 5:00 pm)

Work Week: 37.5 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $24.52-$27.24 DOE

The Child Care Services Specialist (Family Services) is responsible for assisting participants through all phases of the child care payments assistance program. The Child Care Services Specialist (Family Services) will report to the Supervisor, Payment Programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Engage parents in a positive working relationship
• Determine eligibility and need for child care services in accordance with state guidelines
• Maintain a case load and update family files, hard copy and electronic
• Input and retrieve data onto specialized computer database
• Maintain communication with families regarding changes in their need for child care
• Request, verify and process documentation received from the parent
• Provide community resources/information upon request
• Maintain confidentiality of client data and administrative information
• Other duties as assigned
• Assist with special projects (i.e. Parent Engagement Projects/workshops).

Qualifications

• AA or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred, not required)
• Computer experience; Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be a team player
• Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion in analyzing and problem-solving
• Ability to multi-task and manage high volume calls
