Provider Referral Policies
4Cs provides free referral services to licensed child care centers and licensed family child care homes in southern Alameda County. License-exempt programs may be included when a child care license is not required.
Participation is voluntary. By requesting to be listed, you agree to have your program included in the 4Cs referral database, MyChildCarePlan.org, to help families find child care. Providers may also claim and manage their MyChildCarePlan.org profile.
Provider information may be used and shared as needed for referral services, reporting, and program administration.
Keep Your Information Current
Providers must keep their program information and vacancies updated to continue receiving referrals.
- Update vacancies regularly so families receive accurate information.
- Review and update your full provider profile at least quarterly.
- Notify 4Cs of changes to your license, including changes to address, capacity, or ownership.
- Submit updated licensing documents when required.
If we do not receive updates after three requests, referrals may be paused until your information is updated. Your profile may remain in the referral database, and you can resume receiving referrals once updates are completed.
Complaints
4Cs documents complaints received about providers and refers licensing concerns to Community Care Licensing or other appropriate agencies.
4Cs does not investigate complaints. Investigations are completed by the appropriate regulatory agency.
Referral Status Changes
4Cs may pause referrals while licensing or other program concerns are reviewed.
When notified by Community Care Licensing of a temporary suspension, license revocation, or probation, 4Cs will remove the provider from referrals as required and notify the provider and applicable programs.
Providers may return to the referral list when requirements for reinstatement are met.
