Serving organizations that support and assist communities is not only a passion for Ross, its personal. As a child growing up in Southern Louisiana, Ross was the recipient of community agency programs that supported his growth and development. As an adult, he feels it is now his turn to give back.

Ross currently lives in San Francisco with his partner, Thi. Ross has a graduate education in child development, specialized in providing psychosocial and developmental care to children and families in pediatric healthcare settings. After years supporting children and families in hospitals throughout the US, as well as leading global clinical research studies in pediatric rare disease, Ross is once again a student. Ross is attending UCSF studying to be a pediatric nurse practitioner with hopes to become a provider with knowledge of evidence-based practice, but also the social determinants that affect health and development of our most vulnerable populations.

Ross is passionate about supporting optimal growth and development of children and families in an equitable way. He thrives on supporting families on an individual level while also challenging systems of injustice, discrimination, and oppression on a systemic level. These passions are what drew Ross to join the Board of Directors for 4Cs of Alameda County.
