Born and raised in Alameda County, Katie’s career has come full circle from the days spent as a preschool teacher while in graduate school. She now commits herself to advocating and supporting children, families, and educators in her community through her work at 4Cs of Alameda County and the ECE field in the county. When she is not working to uplift learners, she is spending time with her own two sons, husband, large extended family, and two cats, Figaro and Fezzik. Katie is also passionate about community engagement in schools, baking, crafting, listening to good podcasts, and exploring her hometown and the hidden gems the Bay Area has to offer.
