Born and raised in Oakland, Pauline is a proud Alameda County native and an even prouder nurse, mother, and grandmother. Raising two children and experiencing single parenthood, Pauline deeply understands firsthand the struggles and challenges of finding safe, quality child care that allowed her to work outside the home. As a nurse, this child care was crucial in advancing her career and serving patients. Now, with four beautiful grandchildren, and a fulfilling nursing career with almost three decades in the Maternal Child Health specialty, Pauline is just as passionate about supporting early childhood development and uplifting the impact caregivers and teachers have on a child’s educational trajectory.
Pauline joins 4Cs of Alameda County in order to continue her professional growth and development, to give back to the community through service and advocacy, and to share her knowledge and experience as a mother, grandmother, and nurse to impact future generations. When not serving patients or 4Cs, Pauline enjoys reading, traveling, self-care, and spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren.
