Take advantage of our free and low-cost training in English, Spanish, and Chinese. You can learn how to operate a successful child care business, work with children from diverse backgrounds, care for infants, serve children with special needs, develop educational activities, and much, much more.

4Cs Workshop Policies

Preregistration

Preregistration is required for some workshops and highly recommended for all others. If we close or cancel a workshop, we will make every effort to notify those who are registered.

Accommodations

If you need any accommodations to participate fully in a 4Cs workshop, please make arrangements in advance with our Workshop Coordinator at (510) 736-2758.

Fragrance-Free

We strive to provide a fragrance-free training environment. Please refrain from wearing scented products because persons with environmental sensitivities may be in attendance.

Adult Participants Only

Unless child care is specifically mentioned in a flyer, workshops are planned for adult participants only. Please leave all children at home or find alternate child care. Special arrangements can be made for breastfeeding mothers – please inquire when registering.
