Emergency Disaster Training for Child Care Providers (In-Person)
June 13 @ 9:00 am - 1:30 pm
This training will help prepare Child Care Providers to respond to real-world emergencies with confidence, clarity, and courage. Participants will learn age‑appropriate emergency actions, how to create home‑based evacuation and shelter‑in‑place plans, injury‑prevention strategies, and best practices for clear communication with families. Also, participants will be introduced to Lionheart’s signature 8R Emergency Response Protocol, a simple, repeatable framework that strengthens calm, compliant, and consistent care when it matters most.
Learning Outcomes:
- Participants will build the confidence and readiness required to respond effectively and safeguard children in emergency situations.
- Participants will learn age‑appropriate, home‑based emergency procedures.
- Participants will learn about injury prevention, communication, and family reunification practices.
- Participants will develop and practice skills in calm response, compliance, and continuity of care.
