Contracts & Policies Made Simple (2-Part Series)
Virtual EventThis is a 2-part series. In this training we will identify the philosophy of your program, write the Parent Guide, draft your contract and forms, establish policies and procedures on: health, special needs, exclusions, release of the child, privacy, confidentiality and open door, create a schedule (regular hours, sick time, vacation, substitute, late pick up), institute policies for working with staff members, and update your contract with tips and vocabulary regarding COVID-19.

CPR/FA for Child Care Providers February 25, 2023 (In-Person Class)
4Cs of Alameda County, Hayward Office 22351 City Center Drive, Hayward, CA, United StatesThis curriculum is used to train child care providers who are new to the field or experienced early care and education professionals who are taking the course to refresh their knowledge and keep their certification current. This training curriculum provides the eight hours of EMSA approved CPR/First Aid training required to obtain a child care license.

Food Distribution
4Cs of Alameda County, Garage 22351 City Center Drive, Hayward, CA, United StatesCome shop for a variety of food on the first Thursday of every month from 1pm-3pm at our Hayward Office Garage. We will have dry goods and staples such as beans, rice, peanut butter, canned fruits, and vegetables available for you to take, as well as nutrition information and meal-planning ideas. Due to safety and limited supply pre-registration is required!

Play It Forward- Supporting a Play-Based Emergent Curriculum Approach

Understanding current research, having skills for communicating its importance as well as the conviction to implement is key. Increasing pressure for academics to be introduced at younger and younger ages, has many educators feeling the tension to compromise best practices. This interactive workshop will help participants discover the valuable processes and outcomes that happen when children are allowed the freedom to direct their own learning through play.
