  • Hayward Back to School Giveaway

    This Back to School Giveaway is located at our Hayward Office. As parents and children prepare for the school year, 4Cs of Alameda County will be giving away backpacks for transitional kindergarteners/kindergarteners and for elementary school students, as well as books and other supplies to support learning and development. This Hayward event is designed for families in Hayward, Castro Valley, Newark, Union City, and Fremont. Due to limited supply, you must RSVP! Each family is limited to two TK/K backpacks and two elementary school backpacks. Once the spaces are filled, you will be able to register on a waiting list for backpacks that are not picked up.

    Come shop for a variety of food on the first Thursday of every month from 1pm-4pm at our Hayward Office Garage. We will have dry goods and staples such as beans, rice, peanut butter, canned fruits, and vegetables available for you to take, as well as nutrition information and meal-planning ideas. Due to safety and limited supply, mask-wearing and pre-registration are required!

    As parents and children prepare for the school year, 4Cs of Alameda County will be giving away backpacks for transitional kindergarteners/kindergarteners and for elementary school students, as well as books and other supplies to support learning and development. Both our Hayward and Oakland Back to School Giveaways are full. You must RSVP to be on the WAITLIST. There is a limit of 2 for each type of backpack, therefore, a limit of 4 backpacks total per family. We will contact you if a spot opens.
