By starting in early childhood, we can raise children who are aware and accepting of differences. This training is designed to better prepare early childhood staff and programs to work with children, families, and colleagues in an anti-bias manner.  

In this training, we will: 

• Gain strategies to talk about race and racism with children 
• Learn how books can be a helpful tool to initiate and encourage conversations about race 
• Utilize time for self-reflection and practice
