Trauma 100

This session will cover the effects of various forms of trauma and toxic stress in early childhood, children’s brain development in the first five years, and the impact of traumatic stress on the brain and early development.

Participants will learn:

• Learn the neurobiology of trauma and the impact of toxic stress on the brain and behavior of children
• Gain understanding of the difference between challenging behaviors and trauma triggers
• Learn key trauma sensitive strategies that help support children and build their resiliency to help reduce the adverse effects of early childhood trauma

This series is designed especially for child care providers

*Participants who attend Trauma 100 will be given the opportunity to register for Trauma 700
