The Impact of the Pandemic on Early Childhood Social-Emotional Development and Behavior 

This workshop will focus on the effects of the pandemic on children, highlights the significance of being a responsive preschool teacher, and provides insights on how to promote social-emotional competence in your program when engaging with children. You will learn the importance of self-reflection and collaborative, supportive relationships.   

Goals: 

• Recognize the impact of the pandemic on socio-emotional development and challenging behavior in children 
• Practice techniques that teach emotional literacy to preschoolers  
• Develop positive relationships with children
