Learn practical and fun strategies to support multilingual and dual language learners across all areas of the curriculum. This online training focuses on intentional language development, effective vocabulary instruction, scaffolding techniques, family partnerships, and creating meaningful opportunities for children to develop both their home language and English through play and everyday interactions.
Participants will learn how to:
- Enhance their environment to be language-rich and supportive of both home language and English.
- Use intentional strategies to build listening, speaking, and communication skills.
- Recognize the benefits of multilingualism and support language development across the curriculum.
Please Note: Admittance into a training is not guaranteed to participants who are late 15 minutes (or more). Also, active participation is strongly encouraged. This includes keeping your camera on for at least 80% of the training session and engaging in breakout group activities, when applicable.
