  • Early Childhood Behavior Management & ABA: Increasing Positive Behaviors

In this special 2-part series, child care providers will learn to identify the “why” of children’s behavior. Providers will learn function-based strategies to support children in learning to communicate their needs in more positive ways.     Come shop for a variety of food on the first Thursday of every month from 1pm-4pm at our Hayward Office Garage. We will have dry goods and staples such as beans, rice, peanut butter, canned fruits, and vegetables available for you to take, as well as nutrition information and meal-planning ideas. Due to safety and limited supply, mask-wearing and pre-registration are required!

    Preventative Health, Safety and Nutrition for Child Care Providers

    The curriculum trains child care providers who are new to the field or experienced early care and education professionals who are taking the course to update their knowledge and make sure they are up-to-date. The course meets the state-mandated 8-hour Preventative Health, Safety & Nutrition requirement, as well as instruction in the prevention of lead exposure.
