Join us for 4 Learning Sessions that will cover the following topics: Development & Early Identification, Strengthening Relationships with Parents, Pre-Literacy and Challenging Behaviors. Participants will receive incentives and might be eligible to receive a stipend. Attend one or all sessions in this 4-week series.   • CPR Training: Giving CPR to doll

    CPR/First Aid for Child Care Providers – 3 Part Training

    This curriculum is used to train child care providers who are new to the field or experienced early care and education professionals who are taking the course to refresh their knowledge and keep their certification current. This training curriculum provides the eight hours of EMSA approved CPR/First Aid training required to obtain a child care license. To receive certification, participants must attend and complete all 4 modules.

Join us on April 2-8, 2022 for a fun-filled week celebrating our youngest community members and those who care for, love, nurture and teach them while raising funds to support our essential programs and services.     Preventative Health, Safety & Nutrition for Child Care Providers – 3 Part Training

    The curriculum is used to train child care providers who are new to the field or experienced early care and education professionals who are taking the course to update their knowledge on current health and safety practices. This course provides 8 hours of the Preventive Health and Safety and Nutrition requirement, using curriculum and materials approved by the California Emergency Medical Services Authority, under the direction of the UCSF-California Childcare Health Program Preventive Health Training Program, Bobbie Rose and Mira Liao. The course includes 1 hour of nutrition and instruction in the prevention of lead exposure, as required by California Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866. To receive certification, participants must attend and complete all 3 modules.
